to be honest I was disappointed with the ebitda. I was expecting closer to $300 million.
crazy as it sounds, but they should be making more money with prices where they are.
they said ave price received for the quarter was au$172/tonne, which is below where it should be.
maybe it is the fact that there is a lag effect but also as another post mentioned, there is a large portion of sales to the Japanese market which I believe is largely fixed at us$109/tonne until next April.
