Very solid result. Slightly missed target on production (-1.5Mt vs original target) but completely made up for it on price.
Reading between the lines on that incredible A$209/T result - YAL are either selling their high ash at a significant premium to API5, or their wash harder strategy is delivering a significant increase in low ash (NEWC pricing) coal - possibly is delivering increased value in both ways. I normally see about 10-15% NEWC6000 coal pricing in their quarterly sales, but this quarter it looks more like 30% (estimate only, they don't provide the split), which at current price premium is an amazing result to top off an absolute blockbuster half. That's an increadible value uplift if they can mantain.
