Just reading todayNewhaul in collaboration with Fenix have secured govt funding for a trucking simulator to train heavy haul truck drivers.
It is anticipated it will take 3yrs until drivers are fully licensed.
The simulator includes a Truck cab supplied by Mack of Australia.
This points to a problem securing drivers.
Also today's news New Zealand truck drivers will be able to drive in Aus for 12months before being required to obtain a local licence.
There is some resistance to this.
