My theory is tide will turn and Goldie’s will start printing cash a bit like how the coal miners are atm. US dollar is hitting previous cycle high of 103. To me that means time to start shorting the USD or hedging by buying physical gold. Once US dollar starts coming down will act as a major tailwind for gold and gold stocks. Obviously RRL trades solely in AUD but should be a tide that lifts all boats. However short term could be a bit ugly, hedges abou to go to 30 kOz per quarter really going to squeeze those paper thin or even loss making margins. When or if this goes sub 1.80 will be interesting.
