I wonder if water will be a limiting factor regarding the ultimate size of separation operations at Kalgoorlie ? Like Amanda mentioned, recycling process technology doesn't matter if there's not enough intake water coming through the pipe...
I don't know much about the infrastructure situation or water availability situation in Kalgoorlie, but if I look at photos of the surrounding countryside, it doesn't seem like there a lot of rain or water in the area. Access to fresh water was one of the reasons why Curtis settled on Malaysia rather than WA back in the day (among many reasons) if I recall.
Could our hopes for a large separation plant in Kalgoorlie be capped due to water availability ?
