the feasibility studies have proven to be failures regardless of whose hands they were in... and they were a decade apart!

the V asset is just too low grade to make it viable... from memory you had to move a tonne of dirt to milk a drop of V.

barring a long term rerate of the V price... or some technological advance... or a left field advancement in cost savings... then this project just wont see the profitable light of day.

the fact that it's still stranded proves as much... otherwise a more astute management team would be knocking down the door to take it off the bankers hands and monetise it.
