As we have said before, discoveries make companies. It has been a big quarter for Desert Metals that's for sure.

While the RC Drill RIg is drilling out these Nickel-Cobalt-Chromium zones, which actually includes a 12metre intercept at 1.17%Ni from previous drilling....eek.png This is very profitable grade nickel, with cobalt and chromium cost credits....

Im looking forward to seeing how long and the grades of these Nickel-Cobalt-Chromium intercepts are with this current drilling program.

The Rare Earths discovery is now being drilled out by a separate AC drill rig and a JORC Resource will be released on the back of this 20,000m drilling program. Drilling into shallow Ionic Clay Rare Earth deposits is quick, as we have seen with other Rare Earth Clay explorers in the past, this should only take another 2-3 weeks at Innouendy.

As the drill rigs complete batches of Rare Earth sections, they are sent to the labs for processing. Which have also improved their turnaround times last couple of months.

Once the JORC Resource is released, applications for Govt Funding will be made to pay for the low Capex Costs to build the Rare Earth mine.

"Additional analyses now received from recent reconnaissance drilling at the Innouendy project
    have confirmed
significant clay hosted Rare Earth Element (REE) intercepts close to surface.
Excellent metallurgical results showed that the rare earths are easily leached with >80% recoveries
in the high-grade zonesand which confirm the economic significance of the intercepts."

"...the Company is excited about the potential exploration upside at the Project. An extensive follow up infill drilling program has commenced, with both aircore and RC rigs currently onsite at Innouendy. The program will test the extent of the shallow, clay hosted REE mineralisation and also follow up on previously announced nickel intercepts (up to 1.76% Ni.

The WA Govt has granted Desert Metals $180,000 to continue exploring this massive VMS mineralisation, which is already 400metres long and much longer.

Downhole EM will be completed into the previous 2 drilled holes in order to triangulate the thick highest grade sections of this deposit (the centre vent of the volcano" (See video at bottom)

And we have magnificent Dingo Pass, where the 12,000Siemens conductors are still sitting there. Downhole EM survey will again help to triangulate their location for much better targeting.

The company believes they are similar to the massive Canadian Nickel-Cobalt conductors, which have deformed in shape and were trickier to hit from surface EM surveys.

Over the last 18 months, Desert Metals has received $480,000 from the WA govt that has been used to drill these targets, which just shows the enormous support these ASX explorers receive from the Australian State and Federal governments.
