One analyst did mention a supply shortage of base metals supplies into the future, but the time delay was around 12 months. Fortunately, very little CAPEX has been exercised during COVID and the market reversals, so let's hope we can get a jump on a few of the miners.
If Indonesia decides to halt Tin exports heavily to China, in order to smelt it's own product and supply it to market , and we can take advantage of the facilities closest to us, then AISC reductions and a better price might see a nice reversal , at some point.
At present, I'm in heavily, so each cent drop pains me significantly. I will either be a millionaire,or drop dead of a heart attack...
I did read an article [India today] today mentioning a supposed REAL intent to replace Putin though, which would probably aid certain inflationary cost push and supply woes, but we have to take that with a grain of salt, as usual.
It would be a nice Xmas present however!
