I absolutely agree with everyone's opinions regarding the company's fundamentals.
My mention of a 9c support price is what is shown in on of my charting algos , and not for an actual supposition of a future entr price. [I bloody hope not anyway! [I will buy a few million more if that happens!]
The potential multiples in accounting sense are just staggering, yet here we are, languishing in the doldrums.
Many of my speccie shares, with NO earnings, NO infrastructure and just a promise of what may be , with bigger market caps, trade at 3 times the current MX sp.
Book value far exceeds the current SP, yet the price still drops away.
Meanwhile the company has churned through it's registry heavily , with a massive loss in value to it's shareholders and no investment from those inside the circle.
Yes, it's only a 'paper loss', however when that loss equates to over $6000 per cent now, I'm going to bitch about it.
As quoted, there are both financial and opportunity costs with this...
...and yes, I'm a big boy and I understand how the market works.
Yep, it is cyclic, and yep, the market will do what the market will do , with full knowledge that I risk losing ALL of my capital with any investment.
I too can vent though, as we suffer through another poor week, as the rest of the market pivots to green.
The crux of my whinging though is that we have literally NO representation from upper management.
Most companies in the US now have CMO's, chief media officers.
They attend all board meetings and are in charge of all ranges of media strategies.
Many of these companies have turned their SP's around, as potential investors are far more informed and engaged than ever before. It has also added value to the actual bottom line.
Not ONE share has been purchased on market by the top 20 holders. Plenty of selling though. It's almost as though they know something the retail holders don't...
The general sentiment is that we are heavily on the nose. Tradingview gives a strong sell to sell on just about all of the indicators I plug in, bar a few oscillators. IRESS tells the same, no matter which indicator I throw up on a chart.
Analysis pages like SWS and tradeguru all give a strong sell indication, with Cannacord giving a val of around 90c, which is pretty low considering some of the dogs that get valued in far higher multiples.
If i knew absolutely nothing about the company and logged on to the myriad of free investment and info pages like Yahoo et al, you would simply move on, thinking that this company is a basket case and don't quote 'DYOR', as the vast majority of retail buyers do little research except the exposure and general char avout the place.
Often after about 10 minutes and they buy, so within 10 mins of looking at this company, you would automatically move on to another , more promising share, like lithium or oil/gas.
Human behaviour dictates that first impressions , etc, etc....
SO, what am I asking for? Simple. Where is our media representation?
Why aren't we having someone's head shouting look at us, we have HUGE potential!
Where are the twitter feeds?
Facebook ads? [I get them daily from other companies.]
Linkdin?
*?
Market Herald?
...to name just a tiny share of participants in the industry
Can we not afford a social media officer to do some of this basic work, especially with the 100 million in the bank getting eroded by inflation?
Probably a far better investment than Rentails at present...
Google mining expos Australia.
How many have Bretty and the board attended?
How many interviews on the myriad of media outlets have we been exposed to?
Where are the infomercials?
Does anyone even KNOW that we mine tin in Australia? Not by MLX anyway, I suggest.
Instead , insipid uninspiring announcements and a bland website, for 700 grand plus a year, in remuneration.
Reckon the performance bonuses for this Christmas might look a bit stingy.
Hopefully someone feels that, as clearly the apparent loss of shareholder value get's zero attention.
Also, take a look at APAC's books. Yet another case of value shedding, but at least they still get a dividend.
All I ask for is effort. Not simply by one single person, but by a TEAM.
Build one and place the best people in the best positions, where it forwards the company's future and then get on with the job of keeping the joint moving ahead, as has been displayed already.
Yeah, so it's Friday night and I'm done bitching. I might save the rest for the board meeting instead. [opens yet another ALDI cleanskin with the wife...]
Some interesting reading to drown your sorrows with this weekend...If it does not show up, google international tin association. https://www.internationaltin.org/ita-study-strong-tin-recovery-stalls-on-macro/
