In reference to running SLR like a private company, I'm referencing the creation of long-term value. Not pandering to brokers. Or hampering long term performance for a 3-6 month sugar hit.
If you read the April 2022 quarterly, it references preserving long term value at Mt Monger:
"The Maxwells mine continues to be disproportionally impacted by mobile fleet and skilled labour availability due to the narrow vein lodes, which require narrowvein mining fleet. To preserve the value of the Maxwells Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve, production from Maxwells will be suspended by the end of June 2022 with production at Mount Belches intended to focus on CEB in FY23"
This implies to myself, that with narrow veins, you need the best operators to maximise value.
I hardly think SLR is being run "to (sic) close to the wind", given they have no debt and close to $300 million in the bank.
