I keep the emotions out of it completely when investing. Maybe that's why I'm seen as "forgiving".
It's not a matter of being forgiving, I just keep re-assesing as things change and I am a realist - I know things will always change, some for worse such as the higher capex, bear market, Angolan election worries and MNB not being fully funded after all, etc., and some for the better such as higher fertiliser prices, a new simpler product with lower cost and high agronomic effectiveness at 90% relative to much more expensive MAP fertilser, a completed DFS showing a compelling economic case for a project strongly needed in the region it's located in, the green ammonia project added to the pipeline and a very significant new cornerstone investor.
If any of the fundamentals changed to the point that I don't see a compelling investment, I'd sell. Otherwise I hold. It has nothing to do with my being forgiving.
