Perhaps I’m just too cynical these days, but sometimes I wonder if that is exactly the game! Pull a decent salary & equity stake on the shareholder, while making cap raises that pretty much redistribute very material percentages of the company to a new entity willing to stump up a year’s expenses. That is not illegal, but certainly not in the interests of the other 90% of shareholders. I’d be willing to bet that most shareholders would be willing to stump up a few thousand dollars at a 20% discount to market price to kick the can down the road a little longer…if cashflow and capital is really the issue, that’s how it should be done, and PLANNED 6 month in advance so not to get screwed on price or costs of cap raise.
