what would the project be worth if Management could not entice a JV partner?
I hope that Management keep pushing for a sale as it is viable ..... but my fallback position is if that were to happen --------IBG still can get $$$ much higher than its current MC.
If they were to sell the mine the new buyer would be eligible for the EXIM $US657M loan for 8.5 years at a dirt cheap rate, so any potential buyer with cash (like Teck or South 32) would be willing to pay a good price given the potential revenue for the project.
so what would that sale realize?
I have no professional idea but say it is ONLY $100m, that equals ~6 cents per share ... so why is it trading at 1 cent!!
So I bought another 250,000 today because it is cheap.
