The recession is guaranteed this year its just a question if its going to be a hard or soft landing. Anyone who disagrees with a recession coming is delirious.
The last time interest rates with this high was the last GFC.
The interest rates are supposed to go up higher than the last GFC in 2008 also.
In Australia at the current interest rates 15-20% of Australians are going to be going backwards on there home loans. Hard times ahead. With the rates going up due to inflation we may have 30-35% of Australians struggling to meet repayments. Less building worldwide and less building materials required. Then again you do not need to be a rocket scientist to work this out
