Without the tax refund, RRL lost money again.... $14m
Plus... they are now looking at 'options' for DNO. As in, its not profitable!!!! So they will close it! There goes 60-70k ounces from the production profile, and 2.5mtpa processing capacity. Because.... they don't have the gold/grades to actually keep it goes. I think this has been on the cards for a long time, but RRL just won't own up and admit that some of the Duketon assets are basically money pits. Surely the market is going to finally start taking notice of this! This is what happens when a company does not invest in exploration early on (because.... they clearly lacked the foresight to do so).
Here is another hint that DNO is basically already a dead asset.
I look forward to seeing the spin RRL put on their decision for DNO.
