Well if the industry is nationalised like you say, then LPI is in for a very large compensation package care of the expropriation provisions contained in the Chile - Australia FTA. I somehow see the Chilean Government avoiding that outcome or even giving effect to indirect expropriation of assets at all costs. Compensation would be fair market value which including stage 1, 2, 2+ would be in the billions. You have no idea about Chile and how it operates. I will elaborate tomorrow. Stay tuned.
