I remember well back in the day Aust government giving Pilbara significant funding to get their mine across the line.
In my opinion Chile would be wise to push LPI to go straight to stage 2 with major low interest loan. It would be a positive statement that Chile is open for business. In fact outside Chinese investment, LPI via Blanco is the best chance the President can save face to the international community and citizens that this policy will be good for its citizens.
