    They would also require a binding offtake agreement and with a pre payment to provide further equity as a backing.

    Which should be the first step LPI should be taking. That in itself could take several months.

    Where is Mitsui in all of this? Gone with the wind i bet.

    Basically you are buying stage one. So your looking at 500+ investment for a 1.4b project.

    Too much risk would be associated with the amount of time and uncertainty around DLE partners, commercial scale of a technical process, that many who have been in the business years haven't quite worked out and strategic partner negotiations.
