I made an inquiry about the earthworks that were meant to have started at the mine site. They are not in the critical path and won't affect the start date. Earthworks at the processing plant site which is in the critical path were slightly delayed while they waited for the the construction license but they have that now and the project manager getting his Visa but that's also done now so we should see a quick pickup in construction work from next week. The company is also under pressure from the govt to be ready by Nov 11th as it's their national day and they want to make the opening of this project public on that day with a ceremony. I'm guessing that probably helped to get the construction licence and the project manager's visa through without a more significant delay. Good to see there's pressure on the company from the govt and a desire from the govt to deliver the project on time. That should help avoid any significant red tape type delays.
