To be fair, people have been spruiking the "next" thing that will stabilise the coal price.
First it was European winter, then it was China re-entering the Australian market, then it was droughts causing hydroelectric dams to stop generating electricity, now its heatwaves will mean more people using electricity for air conditioning.
Sorry if I sound sceptical, but if those things didnt put a floor in the coal price, why would this next thing? Genuinely curious.
