Hi Borano. Mining costs were $97 per tonne sold ($724 million cost divided by 7.4 million tonnes sold excluding non-produced coal) during the first half of 2023. However the saleable production was 8.2 million tonnes while only 7.6 million tonnes were sold during the half. Inventories must of increased by 0.6 million tonnes.
An alternative measure of mining costs is $724 million cost divided by 8 million tonnes PRODUCED excluding non-produced coal = $90 per tonne. But I am not sure which method is correct, maybe mining costs are already adjusted for changes in inventories so the $97 per tonne may be correct.
