Amigos, while we wait on news, there have been developments occurring in WA which are relevant to Corazon. Future Battery Minerals (FBM) has gone into a trading halt with regards results - FBM has a range of prospects, so it may relate to anyone of those. Nevertheless, FBM is exploring for lithium and nickel sulphide (the company was previously called Auroch). FBM has ground at Kangaroo Hills where it has recently reported very good drill results for lithium, and that prospect is near to Corazon's Miriam prospect in WA. A map from a recent announcement by FBM is copied below. The map shows the large number of established companies which have large lithium resources in this area. Miriam is about halfway between Kangaroo Hills and Coolgardie. From my readings, lithium-bearing pegmatite seems to be in areas where gold is also found - these two metals seem to drop out of the "liquid phase" at similar temperatures and pressure. Now although Corazon bought the Miriam prospect to explore for the nickel sulphide komatiite (which was discovered in 1969 by Anaconda), by chance Corazon's geologist found lithium-bearing spodumene in pegmatite at Miriam in the wall of an old gold mine. You will recall that Corazon followed up with a soil survey that showed the lithium is highly anomalous at Miriam in an area of about 1.5km by 500m, and the area has weathered pegmatites rocks on the surface. Corazon and its patient shareholders are waiting for the drilling program to be approved, then Brett "The Fox" Smith says the company plans to drill into the lithium prospect and the nickel sulphide prospect, plus the gold prospect at Miriam. The Fox is rolling the dice. Luck's a fortune and I'm hoping that we are going to be really, really lucky in 2023.
