At Lucky friday the machine was disassembled and lowered in parts down the shaft, then reassembled underground so I don't think equipment size of 40v keep it from stope face if geology at henty favorable. Introducing 40v at Lucky friday was one factor contributing to most recent bitter 2 year strike by uaw hardrock miners at lucky friday against hecla mgmt...got no clue what local represent miners at henty but imo union would scream bloody murder if you try to bring in a 40v to henty underground, union claiming machine take miners jobs when in fact opposite is true. At Lucky friday nobody lost their job and there is lots of job listings for help wanted at mine..
