I can't resist. Many of these narrow-vein, high-grade mines in the Abitibi really get rolling once you get below 1000 meters.
Nothing on the Harte claims package has been drilled that deeply, yet. All we know so far is that each of the known ore bodies is open at depth.
Here are the first hits at depth from Wesdome's Eagle River mine, about 40 miles SW of Harte. These aren't flukes; Eagle runs about 15 g/t head grade, and 85-100k oz/yr on mill currently running 650 tpd.
Hole 925-E-104: 92.8 g/t Au over 11.1 m core length (6.4 m true width)
Hole 925-E-106: 70.0 g/t Au over 11.5 m core length (7.4 m true width)
Hole 925-E-87: 72.2 g/t Au over 10.8 m core length (5.4 m true width)
