Judging by past experience, the Angolans won’t be in a hurry to finalise the new license. It’s not so much that they are unwilling, but more a case of delays due to bureaucratic red tape.
All parties would no doubt be keen to see it all happen prior to the expiry of the old licence, but whether it happens or not is questionable.
Yeah, the wet season officially commences soon, however the window to excavate a bulk sample from L14 would probably stretch out towards the end of November.
If L14 proves not to be a source, IMO they should review our historical data from that 3km radius of mb6 and 8, because I do firmly believe they missed the big one first time round.
I’ve always thought that there are at least 2 or 3 sources and the main one is either in or in close proximity to the Cacuilo River.
