Well, this is a right royal pain in the arse, it's news this evening that is probably going to hit us again, or already has. This is the first I've heard about it, though some others may already know because I don't visit the old WAF very often, am holding in the bottom draw until after Kiaka.

The royalties levied on gold in Burkina Faso are set to rise substantially.
Junta leader Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the mining minister Simon-Pierre Boussim, and his counterpart at finance Aboubacar Nacanabo are shortly expected to sign a decree that was quietly approved at a cabinet meeting on 13 September.
