I would be extremely disappointed if there is NOT an Interim Dividend paid in February 2024.
I realise that there are approximately 9 weeks of trading till 31 December ,but with hedging at AUD 170 for 60,000 dmt and Operating Margin of AUD 70 , Shipping Costs AUD 26, I would predict a decent NPAT for the December quarter.
So CASH 30 September AUD 59.6 Million, + AUD 8 Million for last September shipment, +NPAT for December Quarter,AUD???, but I estimate AUD 10 Million, leaving AUD 77 Million to pay a decent dividend to FEX Shareholders, even greater than 2c per share, fully franked.
This would certainly push the FEX SP well above 23c.
