@Hopeful9It’s not about cheaper electricity or making money from renewable energy. It’s all about reducing temperatures around the world by 1.5 degrees celsius and accelerate to green transition.
It seems at the moment at COP28 quite a number of countries are against phasing out coal and fossil fuels. If the wording remains at “phasing down” there would have been no change from COP26. This would disappoint many countries and activists all around the world.
You can’t just flick the switch
Newc up another 7% overnight but it’s not moving the thermal coal stocks up.
