Strange that you should say “largest enemy”, newB. We don’t expect that of a chairman. But I can’t stop myself remembering an alleged comment that was attributed to Ian at an AGM many moons ago when he was chairman of another company (which he eventually bought out). I wasn’t at the AGM, but the comment was posted on HC and not refuted by other posters who were there. ..The comment was “I can be shareholders best friend, or their worst enemy”. .. He has undoubtedly been both.
