I was just reading Yankuang Energy's report, which was published on 1st December last year. They've only pocketed a bit more than 14 billion CNY net, about 3 billion AUD, for the first 3 quarters, which was 46.9% drop from the previous year. surely they need some more cash.
there are two ways to get what they need,
dividends, try their best to press the BOD to approve higher than usual dividend, which would be excellent news for us,
also, they can sell some more shares, but it would be stupid to sell before they get the dividends. It may not be a bad thing, considering putting more equities on the market will generate a lot more interest from the investors.
