I see no disagreement between us at all I said Yes you burn anything by definition it has to generate CO2 and usually some other nasty things. What is "Wrong, wrong, wrong ..." about this statement? Anything that takes out carbon when it is regenerated is considered Carbon neutral.
I think my attempts to interject some humor failed. I am sorry it was so confusing.
Bill Gates claims his jet is carbon neutral because he pays for a company that is developing direct Carbon Removal from the air to remove the equivalent of what the jet puts out. Removal will be a critical part of becoming carbon neutral.
Yes I know the company is owned by him. It is one of his many ventures into lowering carbon.
