I don't think having someone like Trump in the oval office is altogether a good thing. His protectionist policies will drive inflation and cost the average American in the hip pocket, all because he wants to hurt China's exports. And he will probably be less supportive of building a rare earth industry in the US to counter China's dominance. He will look after his rich friends like Elon though by reducing his competition via tariffs and by reducing subsidies on EV's thus hurting the car companies who are in transition to electrifying their range , all to the benefit of Tesla. All I'm saying is watch out for unintended consequences of Trumps policies should he get in, as the man hasn't thought it all through ( not smart enough to do that).
