A hydrometallurgical sulphides plant is an adjutant to the CIL plant and uses existing CIL infrastructure for the gold extraction part of the sulphides recovery process; antimony trioxide powder will be the product from the 2nd conveyor.
I'm not aware of any Hydrometallurgical process to recover sulphides, or create Antimony Trioxide. Flotation is a physical process. Likely the best and easiest way forward for this type of orebody. As long as there are no deliterious elements such as Arsenic like the SXG ore. SXG won't be able to sell their cons due to As levels. Antimony Trioxide is made by roasting Antimony sulphides, it is a Pyrometallurgical process and will also require an acid plant, so imo would be unlikely to fly in Victoria.
Most likely route would be a flotation plant, but that would require a work plan variation and a modification to the planning permit.
