I was a bit leaky about people who don't read, company announcements and in particular SPPs. They are legal documents which basically remove all recovery from those who subscribe and then have to ask - how many options. Or have no idea about the listed, or exercisable versions.
Some people seem to spend more time reading a pub menu than a document from a company they are about to dump their hard earned into. (but then the variations ... nah I don't dare go to)
To me it beggars belief. At times I pray the vacuous question is just a 'pull on the toga' of the well informed.
The best advice I ever received, and it was prefaced with: this may seem gratuitous lemons:
Read All Company Announcements.
I do and I have done ok.
(I abandoned Year 4 excuses a few years ago)
