Yip, winners are grinners. And losers blame everyone except themselves.
Invest only what you are willing and able to lose and DYO(Due diligence)
And I have found beta useful to look at to pick some low volatility stock to balance the higher risk ones.
SVG Beta is 0.98 so less than 1.0 and not as volatile as many others

My initial investments in stock exchange were WOW, RIO, NST, CSL and other safe stock.
Before I got tempted by the dark side of small caps starting with SVG

But I haven't gone all in like the Big M and invested $200k in one stock yet - great to see his punt did so well.
But he could have lost it all as LTR and Lithium price crashed over the last year, so sounds like he knew when in the share price cycle to get in, and when to get out.
