@vincerli I suggest you go on you tube, and see one of the video’s to do with understanding a day in a drillers exploration day. It explains why it is so important for the driller to not allow slight deviation of drilling if there is hard rock and why it is so important to have a geo on site, especially for recording the referencing of technical information of the drilling, rock chips samples inspection (analysis) and making sure that everything is accurate and correct.
Tony is in fact correct when it comes to deviation of drilling due to hard rock and needing a geo.
