As I said in a previous post, to go on you tube and you will see a video to do with a day in the life of a exploration drilling operator. I learn’t so much from this video, and didn’t realise why drilling accuracy is so important due to the fact drillers only get paid by the metre being drilled (I was surprised by this especially). The driller has to confirm with the exploration company geologist, all the technical details of referencing for the drilling of the drill hole for reporting to that exploration company.
