Very short summary..., memory loss, (and happy for others input).
First bought shares in 2002, Aztec started a very exciting junior iron ore mining company with huge potential for shareholders but a hostile takeover bid by (then) Luke Tonkins MGX saw us ending up with shares in MGX (script only takeover), a fantastic win for MGX and their holders. Management for Aztec were against the takeover.
We minority Aztec shareholders had no say in the outcome and I wish it had never gone through but the then Cambrian Mining (a major holder) accepted the deal and the rest is history.
Yes, what might have been if Aztec had remained intact.., but that's investing unfortunately.
