Beachcomber - "Could be possible (Take over) as State street announced a substantial holding. This usually means we are being shorted. For shore, the acquirer won't want to pay much for the company. Will come in and act like the white knight doing us a favor."
From the last quarter " FY24 production and AISC guidance maintained: • Gold production: 415koz-455koz• All in sustaining costs: $1,995/oz-$2,315/oz (incl. ~$200/oz non-cash inventory adjustment)"
Looking better every day, my new Goldie and if it gets cheaper I will be buying more.
My take.
1 - On schedule to make from 100 to 150 million profit this quarter, gold price averaging $3300 oz an oz.
2 - Takeover possibilities.
3 - Still cheap relative to most others.
4 - Still in a safe country that has low sovereign risk.
Risk
1 - The gold price ( Double edged sword, risk down but reward up, NO! one knows , one can only guess)
Happy hunting folks and please do your own due diligence
