The idea was to be conservative, so that if you're happy with the low end forecast, it is easier to be impressed when it gets beaten. No point planning a high end forecast with a company known to underperform even when gold is at record highs and above average AISC.

For all we know they could have had further weather impacts and based on the last report, you won't know till the new quarterly hits. EVN at least reported such events ahead of time and kept shareholders in the loop. For reference EVN's was NSW based weather not WA were RRL operates.
