have a look at WGX's Ann from 14 Mar. WGX issues heads-up about production impact but informs they still expect to be withing their yearly guidance. I just think it is good business to do it regardless of if it's not mandatory.
it also reduces the potential of insider trading which I suspect may have happened in the past few weeks.
