Hi Gratton,
ALK are pretty honest about the drop in recoveries.
Plus, they are basically mining 3 U/G mines that are well past their initial reserve life (like... years afterwards).



Plus, they used up a lot of stockpiles (approx 1/3 of the plants throughput was the low grade stockpiles) (which are already low grade, so... low grade begets lower recoveries and vice versa).




Looks like it has already been remedied with more sampling occurring, though I don't discount that it could obviously occur again and therefor, made meeting guidance less likely (but I think at this point, the market would even be happy enough with just hitting it at all).

Higher grade, higher recovery.



Was happy to have confirmation that more money was not put into CAI btw.

Surprised at how little detail was included in regards to all the drilling that occurred this quarter! (though I guess... without results, what can be said).
Would be nice to know what plans they have for the June Q exploration wise...........
As I am fine with them ploughing cash into exploration, it's what they are good at!
