It's likely most Oakey, Queensland townsfolk who don't work for NHC support New Acland. NHC has previously rehabilitated former coal mining areas, and is a fixture in the community that directly supports some of the small and medium sized local businesses, and indirectly spoorts others given coalminers' pay cheques.
One has to like how extra coal should be railed from New Acland...
