On 28 June 2024, the NSW government granted the Stratford Renewable Energy Hub project “Critical State
Significant Infrastructure” status, recognising the importance of projects such as this to provide the longduration storage required to decarbonise the NSW economy. The development application and accompanying
environmental impact statement for the project will likely be lodged in Q3 2024. The feasibility study is
progressing and is on track to be completed during Q4 2024.
Hydro Development's are costly. Would not be surprised if they are keeping the war chest for this bad boy.
