Good to see that GALP and a lot of the majors are now starting to realise that green dream renewables investments are boring industrial projects with appropriate rate of return on investment!

Nothing beats the return on a major oil discovery (other than AI stocks like Nvidia)!

And as other posters have noted, the background of drilling activity in the Offshore Orange Basin will pick up in calendar 4Q 2024 as can be seen in the Sintana 19 July 2024 update presentation extract below.

So we hurry up and wait and fwiw , I like what I see as a PCL shareholder.

The Chevron drilling results in adjacent PEL 90 to the south west starting 4Q 2024 will be of interest to PCL given similar Venus type turbidite fan prospects to those seen in the Saturn Prospect and possibly shared AVO prospect.

BP/ENI (Azule Energy) drilling two wells in the Rhino Resources permit PEL 85 in 4Q 2024 on the large 3D defined Cenomanian prospect (Saggitarius/Shoebill?) adjacent and to the south east of the Mopane oil discovery. Not shown on the Sintana drilling activity table, but will add further interest to the activity in the Offshore Orange Basin.
