It is detrimental for a company to release monthly gold production figures. No good can come from it. It is the tail (shareholders) wagging the dog and attempted shareholder micro management. Once a CEO goes down that path, they are no longer managing the company and the company may as well close its doors.
You should be careful what you wish for.
