Fair enough, rowingboat.
Compared to what's being achieved today, I guess everyone is discounting the value of gold which is going to be sold in 2026+, so the perceived "benefit" arising from VAU's hedges going to zero then is less than punters are calculating at present.
The recent Petra valuation set out on the 40c thread says it all. They have a one year price target in high 40s but note that if VAU was to be valued using current spot prices, their computer model would spit out 74c.
