When you do any agreement, you ask for as much as you can.
It's up to the other party to say yes or no - that's why it's called an agreement.
PCL agreed to go and get the seismic license, and you want to blame WDS for that?
Don't blame Woodside for doing what was good for them, and PCL being stupid enough to agree to it.
The BOD should be held accountable for this agreement.
Not for the two clauses we know about but for the clause that isn't in the agreement.
From what we know there is no termination clause. - 100% so basic in any agreement it is beyond belief.
This is not 1st year law or even first yr uni. It's just layman common sense and the BOD failed this most basic point.
But hey we have done nothing for 18 months, stuffed up a very simple agreement, and now we want you to vote YES on renumeration to congratulate us on doing such a good job.
We have Vesna on the board, the company secretary. The others may be exploration people, but she should have enough knowledge to have said no to this agreement.
If she didn't pick up this very basic point, why is she on the BOD.
She is not there for her exploration experience so this is should have fallen under her area of responsibility.
IMO very solid reason to vote NO to resolution 1 (renumeration) and NO to resolution 2 (reappoint Vesna) otherwise you are just rewarding incompetence.
