Leaving aside Ford for the moment (oh, and the broader prospectivity of the Pearl Project for hosting a potential porphyry), it's not hard to understand management's excitement at "the very high prospectivity of the project area for company-making copper resources".
Thinking just of Odyssey, its historical grades and those recent highly encouraging multi-element, high-grade rock chip assays - Odyssey, where mineralisation is visible from surface with a strike length of >800m (and includes multiple NNW trending extensional veins!) - and considering there are plenty of profitable mines round the traps operating on only 200m strike where the grades are so strong and infrastructure so handy ...well, you can appreciate the possibilities.
The Odyssey prospect consists of a sub outcropping multiple vein copper target with surface mineralised widths up to five metres and a strike length of around 800 metres.
Rock chip samples taken for geochemical orientation, covered approximately 400m of the mapped strike length and centred on the historic workings.
The assays from these rock chips have confirmed significant, high-grade assays of not only copper, but also silver and zinc. This has expanded the exceptional prospectivity of the Project for not only copper but also multi-element epithermal mineralisation.Given all the possibilities that drilling success might deliver from Odyssey alone - and who knows what such obviously fecund ground might produce from Ford and elsewhere besides - G88 remains ludicrously undervalued at its present Market Cap in my view.
