I've been in stocks like this and this one for a long time (as have you). What happens is when the you know what hits the fan their beauty shines.
In the meantime, I'm loaded up on it because it can, and does, provide the ballast in my resources portfolio. The Usman Kwahaja David Warner elsewhere, if you will.
I mean there's plenty of hit and giggle in the small and micro-cap goldies.
I think the real trick for us is to be in Au, Cu, Sn, U and others but lean against iron ore. Let BHP, RIO and FMG deal with their headwinds. They have benefited mightily from the tail-winds for decades. Better still let the fund manager who want resources own those, they are big enough and ugly enough to take care of themselves. They can hog the banks too if they want. This is our paddock.
